Abstract
Even grandpa elephants never forget. At least, that’s what beloved multi-colored elephant Elmer comes to find out in his latest adventure, featuring his Grandpa Eldo. When Elmer sets out to visit Eldo, he’s not sure how much Eldo will be able to remember about the activities the two used to do together. However, as the story unfolds, Elmer discovers that Eldo’s feigned forgetfulness is all just a ruse—and a way to play some good-natured tricks on Elmer! By the story’s end, Elmer is onto his grandpa, and the two rejoice in the most important memory they could have: being together!
