Abstract
Imagine life as we know it today- except that when you turn thirteen, you receive your own grave to care for and live in until the time of your death. The Windhams, who own a cemetery and are professional Grave Keepers for the town, deal with the loss of their daughter, a kidnapping, teenage school drama, and a ghost who haunts the graveyard. All of the storylines unite at the end, when one of the Windhams’ daughters falls off a cliff and multiple community members come to the rescue.
