Abstract
Winnie wants her very own pet monster. While her father is concerned about the level of responsibility this poses, Winnie reassures him book-in-hand that she has done the research and is prepared to take care of the monster. The resulting adventures in monster misbehavior have Winnie running back to her book to know just what to do next.
