Abstract
It all started with a pesky flea that lodged under Ribsy's collar in a place he couldn't quite reach. Mercifully, Ribsy's boy, Henry Huggins, removes the collar, but when Ribsy gets lost in a crowded shopping area, he has no way of being reunited with his family. Ribsy thus embarks on a wild and adventurous journey to find his way home. Along the way, he encounters a violet-scented bubble bath, becomes a school mascot, turns the tide of a high school football game, and, out of necessity, eats more tuna fish than he would prefer. At last, Ribsy’s wild journey leads him back home to the Hugginses.
