Abstract
Despite Michael Vey’s apparent death at the battle of Hades, Michael’s girlfriend, Taylor, seems to be haunted by his ghost. Dr. Hatch is still alive and captures the Electroclan. Austin and Jack escape while the bulk of the Electroclan is interrogated in Elgen-controlled Tuvalu. Meanwhile, Jack and Austin find citizens of Tuvalu who want to free their people from Elgen control. Through the guidance of Michael, who appears in a ghostly form, Austin and Jack assist in the rebellion. Before Dr. Hatch can execute the Electroclan, Michael Vey appears. He had turned himself into electricity in the explosion at Hades and had struggled to re-solidify. Knowing that Dr. Hatch would use political connections and loopholes to escape justice, Michael electrocutes Dr. Hatch. Michael’s family is reunited, the financial assets of the Elgen are used to assist those hurt in the resistance, and the Electroclan returns to the United States.
