The noisy young elephants want to know who is the fastest, so Elmer and Wilbur help set up a race course. The young elephants paint themselves different colors so they can keep track of who is where on the race course. The elephants are ready for the race and off they go! They have to cross the river and get past the tricky monkeys. Then they have to go over a hill and Yellow is in the lead. Green tries to pass, but Yellow trips him and he gets hurt. White stays to help him and Yellow tries to trip Orange, but he gets disqualified. Blue wins the race and they pass out the medals, while Yellow learns his lesson.
