In the San Juan Islands of the Pacific Northwest, hundreds of people gather each year to listen and sing with pods of orcas. Wild Orca takes this real life event and puts it in the perspective of young Mia. Mia looks each year for Granny, a 105-year-old orca. She wonders if Granny be with the pod this year, and if Granny continues to lead her family. Wild Orca is a sweet story lovers of orcas and the ocean will enjoy.
