Abstract
A boy and his dog, Blue, have been together since birth, until Blue dies one day. Each page of this book is a step in the adventures they shared together growing up. They played in the ocean, Blue slept on the boy’s bed, they went camping, played tug of war, and chased balloons. Blue gets old and eventually the boy is alone, and heartbroken. Then one day at the park, he meets a girl and her dog, and as he develops a relationship with her, also gets one with “new” Blue.
