Abstract

This retelling of the children’s nursery rhyme is engaging, bright, and creative. It starts off with the well-known poem, and then continues with some fascinating new verses. At first, these follow the typical rhyme cadence, but then the story takes off and the toes go into wild, detailed, and adventurous activities. They go all over the world (even up to space) and use their superpowers, and then they are tired from their adventures and ready to go to bed.
