Abstract
What is your car like? A son riding along in the car with his father describes all the things their family’s car can do and the adventures they have in each season. In rainy weather, the car’s hood goes up; in summer, the car tows their trailer. It also takes work to care for the car; they need to wash it and get it repaired. The boy dreams of the day he can drive on his own—but for now, his mom tells him not to park on the rug.
