Abstract
The Goldfish Boy tells the story of an observant boy who witnesses a crime. When his neighbor, little Teddy Dawson goes missing, can Matthew solve the case? Matthew rarely leaves his room and writes down his observations in his notebook. Does he have enough clues to find the missing child? As the search goes on, he makes new friends and reconnects with old ones in order to discover what happened to Teddy. As the novel progresses he learns what makes him so observant and overcomes the darkest experience of his past.
