Abstract
The House in the Night is a poetic book that follows a small family of three with their pets into their home for the night. Inside, the little girl gets ready for bed and opens up a book to read before going to bed. The story comes alive to her and she sails through the beautiful night sky on a bird, eventually flying back to her warm home that is full of light.
