Abstract
A young child is hoping for a snow day so that her mother, an airplane pilot, can come home from work and enjoy the perfect winter day in the snow with her family. The child's nighttime wish comes true and the world becomes beautiful and white overnight. Children will realize that the power their wishes have through this simple, sweet wintertime book.
