Abstract
Rainbow Fish has glittery scales and everyone, even himself, thinks he is very beautiful. One day, a small blue fish asks for one of the sparkling scales, but Rainbow Fish refuses to share any of his beauty. Because he was unkind, no one likes Rainbow Fish and he becomes very lonely. A wise octopus recommends that Rainbow Fish share his scales. Rainbow Fish learns that sharing fills him with warm, fuzzy feelings.
