Abstract
Quinn is a young girl who is going through a rough time. Her little sister has disappeared, never to be found, and she has also been getting into trouble at school. And now her best friend is moving away! Quinn and her friend Kara go on a trip one last time with Kara's family. They expect it to be fun and adventurous, but that's not exactly how it goes. First, they arrive at this beautiful, old Victorian Inn. It's big and fancy and may be hiding some of its own secrets. Soon after arriving, Kara's parents disappear within the hotel and later so does her brother. Quinn and Kara are scared but are determined to find them. There are strange people in the hotel that are equally intriguing and creepy, the rooms and hallways are more than they seem, and there is something that lives under the floor! The girls are in a race against time to find out the mystery of this strange Inn and Kara's missing family. All they have is each other as everything else is not what it seems.
