Abstract
Raju the elephant and his mother spend the day going on a great adventure. At each part of the journey, Raju asks when they can go home again and his mother says “soon”. As they travel, they encounter crocodiles, a snake, and a tiger that Raju’s mother protects him from so that they can get to the top of the mountain and see the beautiful world they live in. At the end of the journey, Raju wants to know when they can do it again and his mother says, “soon.”
