Abstract
James B. Allen responds to an article by Claudia W. Harris in this same issue of BYU Studies. Allen writes of the times he visited Ireland and saw evidence of its political and social problems. Allen speaks of the gospel being a message of peace to the world and discusses how the LDS Church might respond to political conflict throughout the world.
