Description

A richly illustrated memoir of life in Utah during the early to middle parts of the twentieth century. Watercolors and gray-scale drawings combine with narrative descriptions of life in the Beehive State from the first years of statehood on. Stories and images run the gamut from farming practices and mining operations; to rail travel and early automobiles; to architecture and graffiti; to boating on the Great Salt Lake and the visit of Rudolph Valentino to Saltair Resort.
