Abstract
We have just received this new Swiss cookbook. All the cooking experts we consulted confirm that it is excellent. The recipes are preceded by an introduction in which we learn much about the history and philosophy of Swiss cooking. The traditional Swiss meals were simple, but very carefully prepared and served. The carefulness is an excellent basis: As long as it can be preserved, the Swiss cuisine will keep its good renown, and there is not reason to doubt that this will not be the case. The success of emigrated Swiss cooks all over the world shows us that this quality is still very much alive.
