Abstract
With this newsletter we enter the second year of the revived Swiss- American Historical Society. We hope that it wil.l be as good a year for the Society as 1965 was. In order to do this we not only must maintain our present membership , but enlarge it and keep it growing. We also have to work toward achieving the noblest and most important goal of the existence of our Society, namely to make available in published form results of research and investigation of matters concerning Switzerland and the United States . From information we receive we conclude that there are a number of projects under way that may be of interest to us, but as of now we do not have any definite plans of publication . Suggestions and help on your part, especially in the form of sound, publishable manuscripts, will be most welcome.
