Abstract

The question wether we can improve long term forecast over a limited area, using coupled air-sea model has been considered. As a first parameter we look into the mean SST for the integrations whose length was about one months, for the summer of 1999. Sensitivity of the results to atmospheric model horizontal resolution were examined.
