Abstract
The Psoralea lanceolata complex is widely distributed in western North America from Saskatchewan to Texas and westward to Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona. The complex has received many interpretations, mostly on the basis of provincial floras and manuals. The present paper attempts to summarize the treatments of previous workers and to present an overview of the complex. The Psoralea lanceolata var. stenophylla is proposed. Distribution maps and illustrations of all entities are included.
