Abstract

Mya Tibbs has a lot going on in her world at the moment. She signed herself up for the fourth grade Wall of Fame game, solely to win a bet against one of her classmates. She entered Bluebonnet’s chili cook-off, even though she’s never cooked on her own. On top of all that, her family is also busy preparing for the birth of their new baby girl. With the help of those closest to her, Mya’s reasons for getting onto the Wall of Fame change, and she learns that the chili cook-off is about more than winning. As the cherry on top, baby Macey arrives safe and sound.
