Abstract

This book has everything you need to know to start your child in preschool. There are so many new things to get used to. Play time, circle time, and even nap time. Each page introduces a different “time.” The children start out coming in the door for preschool time then they progress onto playtime. Circle time is when they get to show-and-tell or read a book. There are a few other important things to know as well such as sharing and manners. Fire drills are noisy and thinking about home time is worrying, but playing with friends is fun. Sometimes there are field trips and sometimes there are crafts, but there is always clean-up time and going home time. The illustrations are colorful and descriptive showing many of the fun things that happen while at school. The back of the book also contains tips on how to prepare your child for entering this new phase of their life.
