He collects their phones assigns the class to split up in teams and figure out if new technology has made people better. Riley teams up with Lucas, much to Cory’s dismay. They meet up with Maya and Farkle and go to the New York Public Library. Riley has a difficult time talking to Lucas without her phone until she gets some advice from the librarian. While Riley and Lucas talk about his life in Texas before moving to New York, Farkle discovers Maya is a talented artist.
